I was checking my DVR to see what is scheduled to record, as one does, and noticed that next Wednesday, May 27 was the premiere of the final season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD on ABC. We’re sad to see this show go after so many great seasons and concepts. The idea behind the seventh and final season sounds intriguing too.
The first episode finds the gang thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened. If they fail, it would mean disaster for the past, present and future of the world.
Watch a teaser for the first episode here:
Walk and talk much? What is this, The West Wing?
No this isn’t a Doctor Who episode either. But it reads like it. Might explain why it’s one of the few series I watch every episode of with my son.
Clark Gregg talks about what it means to begoing into the final season of the show:
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leopold Fitz, Henry Simmons as Director Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez and Jeff Ward as Deke Shaw.
Guest stars include Joel Stoffer, Tobias Jelinek, Joe Reegan, Darren Barnet, Nora Zehetner, Greg Finley, Luke Baines and Patton Oswalt. We’re excited that Oswalt is back and we hear it’s a new character.
