Rapunzel, the long haired hero who knows how to wield a frying pan, from Disney’s animated feature “Tangled,” remains one of the most popular princesses of Disney’s royal court. Thanks to Disney Animation’s artist led tutorial video series, you can now learn how to draw your own royal portrait of the princess from the Kingdom of Corona.
Your guide for this artistic adventure is Disney Artist Marc Smith. Smith served as a Story Artist on “Tangled” and was Director of Story on “Frozen 2,” the top earning animated feature ever.
Ready? Grab a soft pencil and some thick paper and follow along as Marc shows you how to draw Rapunzel:
A big thanks to animator Marc Smith for that easy to follow lesson. We’d love to see your drawings shared with us on our Facebook page.
Want to continue your animation lessons? We’ve previously featured how to draw Rapunzel’s sidekick chameleon Pascal and Flynn Rider.
Would you like to see a sequel to “Tangled” or perhaps an attraction added to Walt Disney World or Disneyland?
