Mariachi Cobre’s performances in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT are a highlight of any visit. After the release of Pixar’s Coco, they sometimes performed as part of a show called the Story of Coco. Like the movie, the show celebrates and honors family centered around the Dead of the Dead, aka Dia de los Muertos.
The show ended earlier this year, but to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, the Miguel puppet led musical celebration will return from October 31-November 2.
The Mariachi Cobre are joined by Folklórico dancers and a puppeteer and they tell the story of Miguel through vibrant dance and song at the Mexico pavilion at Epcot. Look for it on the pathway between Mexico and Norway pavilions.
This celebration will be performed four times a day weather permitting. Check park schedules ahead of your arrival to confirm showtimes, then bring your family to EPCOT and the Mexico pavilion to celebrate Pixar’s Coco and one of Mexico’s special traditions.
