This is the big week Star Wars fans. After years of construction and months of special previews, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland is finally opening to fans on May 31st. If you don’t have a reservation, there is one way you can get a look along with everyone else… the Disney Parks Blog livestream of the official dedication ceremony.
The ceremony will take place on May 29 at 8:20pm PDT / 11:20pm EDT. We will embed the video on this post when it is made available to the press.
Update: Here’s the embed;

The livestream will also include a first look at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as guests are transported to the planet Batuu on the outer rim of the Star Wars Galaxy. I’m sure we’ll get introduced to some of the citizens of Black Spire Outpost and learn about the land’s big attractions too.
Remember, if you don’t have a Disney Resort hotel room or already have a reservation, you can’t access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge until June 23rd. Also keep in mind that Disneyland’s parking situation is a bit of a mess right now. So arrive extra early and pack patience as you make your way to the park this summer.
We’ll have a reporter on the scene and expect to bring you plenty of coverage. You can catch her videos from the land on our Facebook page playlist right now.
A near duplicate edition of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 29th.
