For the seventh year, Westgate Resorts and CEO David Siegel will continue the company’s tradition of honoring U.S. military personnel and their families by giving away 1,500 free vacations. In the past seven years, the company has given away more than 20,000 free nights to veterans and their families. This year, the program is being further expanded to give military the choice of an exclusive weekend in either Orlando or Las Vegas.
“Our U.S. military and their families make a constant sacrifice. We hope to give those who have served in combat a chance to spend some quality time with their loved ones,” said Siegel. “Nothing can ever replace the family time that’s lost, but by creating these weekends for them, we’re trying to help make new memories and give these men and women the recognition they deserve.”
Siegel and his organization have also been big supporters of local non-profits, including Give Kids The World Village, an organization close to the hearts of many Disney fans.

Westgate Military Weekend Orlando
On May 3-6, 2018, Westgate Town Center Resort & Spa in Central Florida will host 1,400 military personnel and their families. All attendees will receive complimentary accommodations in a spacious villa, free admission to Westgate’s Ship Wreck Island water park, access to a military resource fair and a private concert from a surprise country artist.
Westgate Military Weekend Las Vegas
Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino will host 100 military couples December 8-10, 2017, and provide two complimentary tickets to a concert by Travis Tritt, country singer-songwriter and Grammy-award winning artist, performing at the resort December 9. Military personnel and guests will enjoy a Premium Room and access to the resort’s amenities, including the award-winning Edge Steakhouse, an on-site casino and more.
Beginning November 10 at 9 a.m. EST, the first 1,500 eligible service members to complete the online military appreciation form at www.WestgateSalutes.com and place a fully refundable $100 deposit can sign up for either one of 1,400 complimentary four-day, three-night vacations for up to four people at Westgate Town Center Resort & Spa, May 3-6, 2018, or one of 100 three-day, two-night vacations for up to two people at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, December 8-10, 2017.
