Halloween comes extra early in 2017. Walt Disney World has just released the dates for its two big hard ticket special events – Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party & Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Together the events will present 53 nights where the Magic Kingdom closes early to make way for these special parties.
For Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, 32 spook-tacular dates include:
August 25, 29
September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29
October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
November 1
Yes, you read that right. MNSSHP starts in August this year. Disney has also announced that the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular at Cinderella Castle will return as well old favorites Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade and “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks.
For Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas, 21 holiday dates include:
November 8, 9, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26, 28
December 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22
Disney plans to return fan favorites like: Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, “Holiday Wishes,” “A Frozen Holiday Wish” and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.* Last year’s parties added some extra magic that had been missing for a few years, let’s hope that trend continues.
