The original look for the revised Planet Hollywood Observatory at Disney Springs had something of an art deco look and feel, three pieces of newly released art update the the look moving it more into the modern era. We also get our first look at the Stargazers outdoor patio and the new interior of the location.
The Disney Springs Planet Hollywood location will still have much in common with other locations. It will still feature Hollywood memorabilia and the ubiquitous merchandise. But the revised look will add the opportunity for live entertainment and outdoor dining (aka even more seating).
You’ll also notice that the concept art has changed the look of the tower from a light to a radio tower.

The main feature of the revised interior will be a 4,000 sq. ft. video wall that surrounds the ‘sky’ and features clips from your favorite movies.
We had a look at the exterior work at Planet Hollywood in our most recent Disney Springs construction update. It’s expected to reopen for guests later this year, hopefully in Summer.
