With the closure of Big Thunder Mountain Ranch area, Disneyland lost its very popular barbecue restaurant. To accommodate demand for the southern-style treat, the River Belle Terrace is getting a makeover. It will soon re-open as a table-service location featuring barbecue favorites, traditional southern dishes and sides, and more.
Among the starters are Grilled and Chilled Shrimp and a Pimento Cheese Dip that will take any Southerner back to their youth.
Entrees include BBQ Ribs, beef brisket, pulled port, oven-roasted chicken, a friend chicken sandwich, and a seafood option.
Kids will enjoy a choice of Macaroni & Cheese, Baked Chicken, or BBQ Ribs.
Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the maple, apple and bacon bundt Cake or butterscotch pudding parfait. I suspect the friend cheesecake might be the must-have dessert though.
