A new leak of information has provided us with some possible answers for the origins of Ultron and The Vision. Needless to say, POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD.
Now then, what we learn in the first two images are the origins of Ultron and Vision. It seems Ultron will be based on Chitauri technology. This apparent hold over from the invasion is then experimented on by Tony which gives Ultron his sentience.
Vision it seems is created by both Tony Stark and Bruce Banner to combat the technological advancement of Ultron. Up until this point rumors would alternate between which of the Science Bros actually create Vision.
While these do look official, they are still as of yet unofficial. I think we can safely bet that they are still true. The only reason I bring up their unofficial status is the upcoming Ant-Man film. Ant-Man in the comics is the original creator of Ultron. Most rumors and fan whispers point to this still happening in the movies. This would make Ant-Man largely a flashback, which has also been rumored.
Ultimately we are arguing about semantics. For me personally, I would like to see Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man, be given the program to play around with in the Ant-Man film. I think this would help tie Ant-Man more closely into an already established universe. Semantics I know but I can dream can’t I?
Along with the first two pictures, we got two additional promo photos. One depicting Vision and his phasing ability. The other showing off Black Widow’s new suit and buzz batons.
Expect to see more and more Marvel tidbits in the months to come. Hopefully we’ll even see the first Ant-Man trailer soon, which has been officially reviewed by the Alberta Film Ratings board. Only time will tell and well I’m starting to go a little stir crazy waiting.
