In the Iron Man series Jarvis is Tony Stark’s computer driven personal agent. Eventually Jarvis becomes integral to the suit and perhaps something a bit more in future Avengers movies. In the comics Jarvis stands for – Just A Rather Very Intelligent System. But what if the idea for an assistant named Jarvis dates back even further than that.
That’s the theory behind Agent Carter’s first encounter with the Jarvis Howard Stark, Tony’s father, knows. In this full scene from “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” we not only witness the return of Howard Stark, but get our first look at the original Jarvis.
There was also some other news regarding Agent Carter. She will have part in the Ant-man movie, the current thought is it will be some sort of flash-back with Hank Pym and S.H.I.E.L.D.. Peggy Carter will also have at least one more appearance on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well.
The special 8-episode series Agent Carter comes to ABC in January 2015.
