Legendary Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker himself, showed off his skills with a light saber and a serious pose with Jedi Mickey as he prepared for this weekend’s appearance at Star Wars Weekends.
Friday through Sunday, subject to change of course, look for Mark Hamill to participate in both the daily motorcade of Star Wars Stars at 11:30AM and a 3:00pm chat in the Premier theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Fastpass+ was technically available for that show, but only 400 were available for each day. If you want to see his chat in the comfort of A/C be prepared to wait in queue for a long time. Otherwise, the talk will be simulcast in multiple areas throughout the park.
Hamill, looking pretty good for his 62 years, appears to be channeling his inner Obi Wan Kenobi with that beard. Must be a Jedi thing Could be a clue to Episode VII. But probably the only clue we’re going to get this weekend. Interesting that Alec Guinness was also 62 when he first played Obi Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars film
