Halloween is over, which must mean it’s time for Christmas, right? It is at Disney World, anyway. Starting on November 8th Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will return to Magic Kingdom Park on select dates, bringing with it the excitement and joy of the holiday season.
The special event (which requires a separate ticket to attend) will feature a host of fun activities, some of which will be new this year. Guests will be able to experience snow flurries on Main Street, U.S.A., see the characters dressed up in their Christmas outfits, and watch the exciting parades and lights around the park.
This year party-goers will see an addition to the castle projection show and the fireworks: Glow With the Show ears. Also stick around to see the Jungle Cruise attraction transformed into Jingle Cruise (which will also be open during regular park hours, not just during the party), and meet Merida at her Fairytale Garden, as she will be staying up extra late to join the party this year.

Christmastime at Disney is an extra special, extra magical time of year, and Mickey’s party will surely be a blast. I don’t know about this year, but I’ve heard that in past years that the park is not as crowded during party hours as during regular hours, which makes for a more peaceful, enjoyable time with family and friends. Sounds like a perfect Christmas vacation to me!
