In my day job I’m involved in Social Media marketing and to keep myself up to date on what’s going on in my industry, I often rely on the great series of talks hosted by Google and placed on Youtube. This week, in the ‘Artists at Google’ series, they’re hosting director Peter Hedges and actor Joel Edgerton from Disney’s “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” which his theaters tomorrow.
It’s a bit long at 47 minutes, but carve yourself out some time during your lunch hour and enjoy these two artists talking about their craft, and their work on the film:
Academy Award®–nominated director/writer Peter Hedges (Dan in Real Life, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?) brings enchantment to the screen with The Odd Life of Timothy Green, an inspiring, magical story about a happily married couple, Cindy and Jim Green (Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton), who can’t wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim—and their small town of Stanleyville—learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts.
I’ll have my review of the film up later today. Are you planning to go see the film in theaters?
I am planning to go see the film tomorrow and can’t wait. I think it’s looks great, but it stars Jennifer Garner.
