Does cold weather have you dreaming of your next trip to Walt Disney World? Well put down those hand warmers and pick up a guidebook. Whether it’s your first trip or your fiftieth, The Complete Walt Disney World 2012 by Julie & Mike Neal is not only all encompassing, but with over 500 color photo graphs and a useful color-coding system, it’s the most accessible too.
The Complete Walt Disney World 2012 guidebook seeks its level between the sometimes snarky independent books and the too sunny official guides with straightforward insight and helpful information. Each attraction has a comprehensive guide that makes deciding what to do easier than ever. Plus there’s more than just ranks and ratings, but they also reveal a little of the history or detail that makes Disney magical.
While Disney World’s menus can change quickly, the Complete guide shines with its policies section that includes hard-to-find facts on children’s meals, special diets and Disney’s new rules about canceling reservations. Plus there’s a good section on the Disney Dining Plan.
Planning to stay on property? Thorough hotel descriptions let you compare every aspect of every major place to stay, including swimming pool features and other family-focused amenities. Reviews cover the highs and lows of every property, room decor and both rack and discount rates.
The Complete guide’s color-coded chapters and large index let you find any topic quickly. To make planning easy, a back-of-the-book section titled Walt Disney World A–Z provides a wealth of data on airports, rental cars, park tickets and the like. An appendix holds a Character Guide, a new What Things Cost section that makes it easy to plan expenses, and telephone and Internet directories.
I’m a local to the parks and resorts, but The Complete Walt Disney World is the first guidebook I reach for when I have a question. I’m sure it will become much used and loved by you family for your Disney planning needs.

I can concur with this. I still consider the Unofficial Guide to be my go-to source for everything…but overall the Complete series are the guidebooks I suggest to friends who ask me which WDW guide to buy.
link takes me to the FB page, of which I am a fan, but the post for this isn’t showing up. Guess I will wait for FB to catch up to itself!
