A Day In The Life of John Lasseter is a 25 minute documentary looking at, you guessed it, a day in the life of Pixar’s animation pioneer and head cheerleader John Lasseter.
He sets a long day for himself with much of the day from 5:30AM to 11PM scheduled in 15 minute chunks. He also shows off his Hawaiian shirt collection, something he and I have in common (although his hundreds of shirts outweigh my dozens). He also gives you a bit of a tour of his fantastic house.
After watching a day in John Lasseter’s life, what I really want to know is, what does this man need so many iPads for? Seriously. Also, what’s up with all the hugs?
Watch the whole documentary for yourself on Youtube.

No doubt John Lasseter is a modern day animation genius – but I found this video off-putting. I like the days of Walt Disney with his grease pencils, Dennison’s Chili and a Scotch Mist at the end of the day.
Lasseter is good. But he’s no R.K. Maroon.
