Here’s a new video of a walk-around Mickey Mouse talking to guests outside his house in Disneyland’s Toontown.
After watching a couple different videos of various interactions, Mickey appears to have a limited dialogue capability. That’s to be expected as there is only so much the puppeteer can control. Anyone know if this is done with voice commands or via keypad? But I’m still impressed. This is a much more fully realized Mickey than the mute version I saw a few weeks ago.
What do you think? Is this a plus or minus for character interactions?
This is amazing. Kind of like really meeting a superstar. I’m a fan.

He needs to blink sometimes, too. Has he been hangin’ with Charlie Sheen too much?

I hope they continue to roll this out to all the characters. The more interactive, the better!
