SF Weekly reports on rumors of Disney buying a 100,000 sq foot building in the Mission District for purposes of opening a studio. This strikes me as odd as Disney has just closed a location in Novato. On the other hand, I know Disney has put more than a little focus on improving their software and game divisions recently. So I would not be surprised to see some hybrid of a game company and digital studio open at that location.
Of course, it could just be someone mis-interpreting the opening of a new Disney store in the Bay area.
Any thoughts?

I would hope Disney can improve their video games. Epic Mickey looks good, but then again, I said the same thing about Toy Story Mania and Pirates 3 Wii, etc. In other words, graphics tend to be extremely terrible and game play is less than mediocre.
I believe their new store is near Union Square. The Mission would be a terrible place for a store. Makes sense for a studio though.
