I wonder if the outside community realizes how much Disney has down for the Orlando region. One example is their participation in the community is their funding of the Disney Entrepreneur Center in Downtown Orlando. This center works with local business people to start and grow their businesses and, in turn, provides Disney a healthy city from which to draw its future employees.
There is a story in the Orlando Sentinel today stating that the DEC is looking to move away from Downtown and into a mall where rent will be cheaper.
It seems this move did not impact the community at large… what are some of the ways this company plans reaching the potential entreprnuers?
