A new boutique hotel is planned for the Disneyland Resort area in the Ball Road and Walnut Road area. Yep behind the park. Perhaps they’ll have a good view of the fireworks launch.
The City Council has unanimously approved a plan to build a 120-room Marriott hotel on high-profile property along Ball Road that has housed a vacated and dilapidated restaurant for several years.
Council members applauded the property owner for improving the site and bringing an upscale hotel to the city, despite current economic hard times.
That with other projects currently underway will bring the total rooms to more than 16,000. That will certainly help Disneyland keep the parks full while they have to demolish and rebuild two of their hotels. (Okay, that’s just a rumor.)
