The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers

Tigger is in trouble again at Walt Disney World Resort.  He’s been accused of striking a kid.

Jerry Monaco of New Hampshire videotapped his son, Jerry Jr., posing
with the costumed character at Disney-MGM Studios on Friday and
recorded the confrontation, according to a statement from the Orange
County Sheriff’s Office.

You may recall that Tigger has been in hot water before.

In 2004 a Walt Disney World employee dressed as Tigger was accused of
touching the breast of a 13-year-old girl while she posed with him for
a photo. A jury found the man not guilty.

I’m not sure why the report refers to Tigger this way.  Everyone knows Tigger is played by Tigger – all Disney characters play themselves. Then again, perhaps there is an impostor disguised as Tigger who could have done something like this, giving the real Tigger a bad name?
