Of all the new shows of the fall season at ABC ‘The Nine’ held the most interest for me. I thought the pilot was excellent. But I was only able to tolerate three episodes of the show before it fell off my rotation. I wasn’t alone either as the ratings numbers never materialized in the post ‘LOST’ slot.
ABC recently put the show on Hiatus (Disney speak for ‘gone away’) with very little hope of it coming back. That puts show producer Hank Steinberg in a tough position. Scott Collins at the LA Times chats with Steinberg about the show, his vision, and what went wrong.
