All the news coming from Hong Kong Disneyland these days is bad. Now there is a sex-tape incident that resulted in the firing of 4 parade workers. As I predicted, Invincible Tops Box Office again

  • by

Experiencing very little dropoff from it’s opening weekend numbers Disney’s Invincible has kept it’s place at the top of the box office with a 4-day take of $15.2 million. That brings it’s 11 day total to $38 million.  (Link)

P3, filming in Redondo Beach

  • by

It’s my understanding that the crew is back at the Walt Disney Studios wrapping up some soundstage work, then Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End will go into post production. Of course that means Johnny Depp is in Los Angeles right… Read More »P3, filming in Redondo Beach

Yesterday, my beautiful wife and I went to see the Titanic artifacts exhibit at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. I can’t recall having ever boarded the ship before. From newspaper reports over the last few years, it sounds like the operation is in trouble, and I can understand after having been there first-hand.… Read More »Visiting the Queen Mary, a Former Disney Operation

Checking In on Local Disneyland Competition

Adam Guren laments the state of Six Flags Magic Mountain in today’s Los Angles Times. The park is in the northern Los Angeles County area, and as such, competes with the Disneyland Resort for dollars from locals who want to get out of the home for entertainment. The problem isn’t necessarily the teens in the… Read More »Checking In on Local Disneyland Competition

Finally, Maybe, Possibly Another Indiana Jones Film?

Deborah Netburn of the Los Angeles Times has given us a piece talking about the loooooong-awaited next Indiana Jones film, asking if it is too late to do another one. Although the films weren’t from Disney, the character and story elements have long been a part of Disney theme parks. Now, Empire magazine tells us… Read More »Finally, Maybe, Possibly Another Indiana Jones Film?
