Horror film maker Clive Barker and Disney have parted ways, apparently another victim of Disney’s reduced film schedule. In a recent interview Barker blames it on creative differences over his Abarat property:
We are no longer making Abarat with Disney, that is now official, the work is back in my hands and my ownership, I owe them nothing. I suppose you could say there were creative differences
I always thought it was a little odd that Disney and Barker were paired up. Although Miramax and Dimension Films had carried horror in the past. (Link)
