Steve at The Animation Guild blog discusses the recent history of Personal Service Contracts at Walt Disney Feature Animation and their future and enforceability. What Steve doesn’t address is whether or not this had the effect of driving up the cost of making animated features for the studio, and in turn, the end of Hand Drawn Animation (or at least the recent hiatus).
