Your Collection…

Okay. I consider myself a collector. I don’t take it too seriously, but I have a few things I like to collect. As part of being a Disney fan I’ve met other collectors who seem very serious to me. Their collections are huge and put mine to shame. This guy from the United Kingdom has put pictures of his collection online and his dwarfs anything I’ve seen before. Just absolutely amazing. (via)

    My Step-Father recently purchased an old house. In the attic we found an old Disneyland record player. It says Disneyland on the side and has a light bulb inside that lights up to make the plastic Disney character heads on the outside glow. It plays 78, 45, and 33 1/3 record speeds and has a stamp on the inside that dates it September 30, 1953. It was made by Hudson Electric Company in Mt Vernon, NY. Can you tell me the value of this record player? If you don’t know could you tell me who or where I might look?

    I have a large Disney collection of Stuffed Mickey’s, watches, figurines and misc. items that I have either bought or received as gifts over the years. I am looking for a buyer for part or all of my collection. I treasure all these items but due to my son’s recent illness I must sell these to help pay medical/travel expenses.

    I have an old Lenci fel Donald Duck in the 3 Musketeer outfit. In perfect shape. I have looked all over the internet and never see anything about the classic lenci felt dolls. Its about 24″ tall, The feather in his hat is still in perfect shape as well as his wodden sword. Can anyone help me find out info on these? I’m very supprised that disney collectors have ignored this item.
