Looks like Mother Nature liked what she saw in Orlando so much last time, she’s booked a repeat visit. The Orlando Sentinel is reporting on the Orlando area tourist destination response to Hurricane Frances’ projected path. Lot’s of closures and some fiscal belt tightening is involved.
Much work remains to be done today. Before Hurricane Frances arrives, crews at different parks must strap down food carts, move trash cans indoors, board up windows, remove decorative emblems, lower water levels in lagoons to protect against flooding and move animals to safety.
I love the fact that Disney can lower the water level in its lagoons because although they look natural, they’re almost all man made. Disney Magic.
