Looking for something fun and interesting to do this weekend, LaughingPlace.com’s LPWire notes that the Los Angeles Live Steamers and the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society are celebrating the 5th anniversary of the opening of Walt’s Barn to the public.
Walt’s Barn is open for free public tours the third Sunday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Barn is operated by volunteers from the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society (CPHS) on behalf of the Walt Disney Family Foundation. The Barn is located in the Los Angeles Live Steamers facility at 5202 Zoo Drive in Griffith Park, about one-quarter mile east of Travel Town. Entrance to the Barn is located at the east gate of the Los Angeles Live Steamers facility. Admission and parking are free.
