Pixar “The Good Dinosaur” Trailer #2 reveals how Spot got his name

It’s a new world of adventure in the second official trailer for Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur.” We learn a little more of the backstory and hear the dinosaurs talk for the first time (in a US trailer, at least). It appears Arlo the dinosaur gets separated from his father in a flash flood, then meets up with Spot (and an assortment of other dinosaurs) as he tries to get back home.

The new trailer has a few new scenes, including an innovative moment with some groundhogs and we learn how Spot gets his name.

Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur Trailer #2:

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

The Good Dinosaur opens in theatres November 25, 2015!

I am very excited to see this film!

Having seen some clips at the D23 Expo this year and hearing certain bits of information, I can say that the events leading up to Arlo getting lost are misleading in these trailers. People are going to cry even more than they think…
