Ever see those really cool smart phone cases that Disney sells in the parks, but were sad because they just didn’t have one for your model of phone or a design that features your favorite Disney characters? Well, Disney hears your cry. They’ve put on-demand printing technology to work inside the new Marketplace Co-Op location in Downtown Disney Marketplace to allow you to select from over 125 case designs for a variety of phone case sizes, and even let you customize your case with your name.

Here’s how it works:

Currently, D-Tech on Demand printing offer cases for the following phones – iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 5C, Samsung Galaxy SIII and Samsung Galaxy S4. The process uses UV ink which dries immediately and requires no cooling time. You can put your case on your phone right away.

Disney recently added 12 designs from the hit animated feature Disney’s Frozen, including the four above images which are exclusive to the print on demand technology at Marketplace Co-Op.

Have you tried out this new D-Tech phone case yet? What design did you select?

What about samsung galaxy s5? I’ll be there in 26 days. Any chance they’ll add this type of caservice by then?

  2. Julie says:

I love these new cases! Are there any plans to offer it online? Seems like it would be easy enough to do and could substantially increase your customer base beyond those at Downtown Disney!

  3. Sarah says:

    How much do they cost?

So, here again, us Android users are left hanging. Why does Disney always coddle the Apple users? You go to the stores and there are tons of things for I-phone users but practically nothing for Android users. There are a lot of Android users out here. How about some cases that fit our phones, too? I would get one of these in a second if it fit my Droid RAZR.

I think Apple and Disney must have some sort of agreement since Steve Jobs was the largest shareholder of Disney since Steve practically bought Pixar way back before Disney did.
Also, I think it’s maybe just a bit easier to offer things for the iPhone because the design doesn’t change much except every two years. Whereas other phone makers change their designs so frequently.
      Just a thought.
