Behind the Scenes of the Red Car Trolleys at DCA

Red Car Trolley

Like a scene out of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the Red Car Trolley’s roll through the new Buena Vista Street area of Disney California Adventure. The Red Cars are crucial to the feel of the area that takes you back in time to Los Angeles in the 1920s and ’30s, the time of Walt Disney’s arrival in Hollywood.

Step on board one of two Red Car Trolleys that traverse back and forth from Buena Vista Street, past Carthay Circle Theatre, through Hollywood Land and to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. When you’re inside be sure to look at the vintage inspired advertising above the seats. Also, notice the numbers of the Trolleys, #623 and #717, significant dates in the Disneyland Resort’s history.

A new video from Disney takes us behind the scenes on the Red Car Trolleys.
