Las Vegas continues to attract versions of Broadway shows to its many high quality theaters. The latest show to hit the strip is Disney’s “The Lion King.” It will repace Mamma Mia which enjoyed a 2300 performance run at the Mandalay Bay.
It’s not quite the giant themed Disney resort that has been rumored to appear in Las Vegas for over a decade. But it’s a toe-hold. “The Lion King” is either on tour or in residence in six other cities right now.
