The Return of the Subs

Mr Baxter should check the air pressure once again as it looks like the Submarines are coming back to Disneyland. Marty Sklar can now thumb his nose freely at all those who claimed he should eat his famous ‘speed bump on harbor blvd’ words. Yep. Ken on LaughingPlace.com has the details and a bit of… Read More »The Return of the Subs

Arrghhh Mateys.

It be talk like a pirate day, it be. So in honor of this occasion I bring to you this treasure: BoingBoing.net points us to a wonderful tribute to Disneyland’s Pirate fortune teller Fortune Red. Disneyland President

The OC Register has an interview with Matt Ouimet, President of Disneyland (silly free registration required). Some are calling him the savior of the park, someone who can turn around the mess left by the last two park management teams. He certianly has all the right answers, and his efforts so far have been more… Read More »Disneyland President

Eisner’s Resignation Letter

CBS Marketwatch has the contents of Michael’s two-year notice letter. (And I thought I gave plenty of notice with my 1 month warning shots.) In his 20 years as CEO and sometimes Chair of the Walt Disney Company, Eisner helped guide the mouse house to record profits and through amazing downturns. The first 10 years… Read More »Eisner’s Resignation Letter
