Disney’s Glory Road

If there is one movie genre Disney has figured out it’s the ‘based on a true story’ motivational sports film. Glory Road is the latest in a string of such films that includes "Remember the Titans", "The Rookie", and "Angels in the Outfield" (Okay that one wasn’t based on a true story). Lost: A multimedia fan fest

The LA Times has written a great article on the many media upon which you can find episodes and ephermia of the ABC hit TV show LOST. This time she critiques her meal at The Vineyard Room, the upper end restaurant located within the gates of California Adventure. One of the things I like about Cindy’s reviews is that while she gets the important food and service issues in… Read More »Cindy reviews the Vineyard Room

Guests arrive for Disney Soccer Tournament and find Swingers Party

Although this event took place off Disney property, I still find it a funny story (although I’m sure it wasn’t at the time). A group of families booked a hotel stay in Orlando while their kids played in a Soccer (that’s football for you non-americans) Tournament at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. Of course, no… Read More »Guests arrive for Disney Soccer Tournament and find Swingers Party
