Narnia II: Director’s Video Blog

Remember Narnia? That other big franchise Disney is hoping to cash in on? Back on March 11th, they posted this Video Blog from the director Andrew Adamson. (I’ve embeded it below the cut too.) I’m beginning to wonder if they’re planning to continue this blog.

Building up an audience of fans who are interested in how the movie is being producted seems like a great idea to promote the movie. Let’s hope there are more coming.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is scheduled to make it into theaters sometime Spring 2008.

Zac Efron in Hairspray

High School Musical fans get ready for Zac Efron as you’ve never seen him before… as the hunky baby doll ‘Link’ in Hairspray, the musical. You’ll also get to see John Travolta in drag (not that big of a shock as it turns out) and some great music and dancing. Hairspray the musical movie is based on a stage musical which itself is based on the original 1988 John Waters cult film of the same name. Efron is currently filming (or preparing to film) High School Musical 2 with the rest of the original cast.

The first trailer for Hairspray has hit the nets and it looks great. It’s embeded below the cut so you can see it for yourself. Hairspray will take over the theaters on July 20th.

Sawtooth Palm Frond sends Guest to Hospital at Disneyland

Part of me wonders why I’m even posting this. But ABC News in Los Angeles is reporting that a 17-year old girl was struck and cut by a falling palm frond while riding the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland. It was a blustery day at the old 160-acre woods and the tree branch scrape the guests… Read More »Sawtooth Palm Frond sends Guest to Hospital at Disneyland
