Disney adds bus service from theme parks to Disney Springs

disney-springs-bus

The expansion of Disney Springs has returned nightlife to the popular shopping, dining, and entertainment district. But getting there after a day at Disney’s world famous theme parks remains a challenge. You have to take a monorail, boat, or bus to a Disney resort before you can continue on to Disney Springs. That all changes this week.

Starting August 28, 2016, guests can board a bus from all four Walt Disney World theme parks to Disney Springs between the hours of 4pm to 11pm (or two hours following park closing, which ever is earlier). The transportation is one-way only. If you wish to return to a theme park, you’ll still need to transfer at a resort (or just go to the Contemporary and walk for the Magic Kingdom, and Boardwalk and walk to EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios).

Will you take advantage of this new service after your day at Disney’s parks?

  1. I love that this is starting the week after I come home from my visit to DW. No biggie, the secret was to take the Saratoga Springs bus and get off at the 4th bus stop, and then walk a short way to Disney Springs anyway. :D
