One of the more popular souvenirs at Walt Disney World has always been the Mickey Mouse luggage tag. Recently they started to sell some luggage to attach it to, and now Disney has a whole shop dedicated to travel accessories and other gear. They call it Disney TAG and it can be found as one of the boutiques in the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs.
Disney TAG occupies the former space for tween girls clothes and accessories across from the Wonderland Gallery (which itself replaced a makeup boutique).
Disney TAG is chock full of colorful travel related goodies that guests can use to accessorize their vacations with Disney themed products. It has a fun airplane / airport theme.
In the following video we take a tour with our host of “A Kid’s Life at Disney”
Fun facts about Disney TAG store:
- If you watch the animated window display near the airplane seats, look for hidden Mickey silhouettes in the clouds (you can see one in the video above)
- The Departures and Arrivals board above the main register is full of Disney refernces and easter eggs.
- Don’t miss the airplane seat photo op (also in the video)
- The classic “Mickey World” logo can be spotted throughout the store on displays and mannequins.
Just outside the Disney TAG store is a rare opportunity to buy some Disney Cruise Line merchandise without actually being onboard a ship. They call it Dry Dock. I wish they had some of the great shampoo and conditioner you can only get on the ship. But it is a nice collection of clothes and gear.
