A little less than two years ago when Disneyland was promoting the new Star Tours attraction, they came out with this very funny video of Darth Vader on vacation at Disneyland. With the big news that dropped on Tuesday, that video has been updated and turned into a cute commercial that fits in with the famous “What Are You Going to Do Next” commercial series.
Good stuff! I look forward to more of this combining Disney and Star Wars, especially as we approach the next Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
At first, Darth Vader looks a bit unnatural at the parks. However, the more I think about it, he is a great characters and Disney is in the business of promoting great characters.
Just wait until we can see Mickey Mouse, Spider-Man, and Darth Vader walk through the park together. Disney’s future burns brighter than ever.
