So I'm getting married this spring and it will not surprise anyone here to know that we're honeymooning in Florida ;)

What three restaurants do we absolutely *have* to check out?

(We already like Le Cellier and hate Ohana, but the rest is open season, I'd love to hear suggestions!)

Victoria and Albert's for sure (he must wear a jacket). Then it's a toss up between California Grill and Jiko. Sanaa is my new favorite restaurant, so add that if you have the time. If you can get CG at Fireworks time, that might tip the balance for me.

  3. If your going anywhere near Winter Park I know all the dining there, tons of romantic, and nice places to eat. Most tucked away a bit off Park Avenue, or right on Park Avenue, some have live piano, or jazz entertainment, it just depends on what your looking for.

We went to California Grill in September and loved it. I had a wonderful steak and my wife had fish - she said it was excellent also. The fireworks show is neat with the music piped into the restaurant, but Wishes is really meant to be seen from the park. It just wasn't quite as magical for me from that far away. But purely based on food, we really enjoyed California Grill.

For a "future reference" Our family LOVES "The Garden Grill" in The Land Pavillion at EPCOT. It is a character dining experience, which the my boys enjoy. We love the healty food choices and the kids are thrilled that food on their plates once graced the inside of the Land attraction!

My husband and I also went there frequently while dating (when we were WDW cast members) so we had fun without children as well!

I did enjoy "The Garden Grill" as far as the food and character interaction went. But the spinning gimmick didn't really work for me. Goto Coral Sea if you want a view.

California Grill and Jiko are favorites of ours for special occasions. Les Chefs de France is a favorite in Epcot.

If you manage to get off property, Celebration is a wonderful residential community with shops, restaurants and a retro-style movie theater.

Another vote for Coral Reef & Les Chefs de France, both at Epcot!

Also, what about the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian?

Jiko is my absolute favorite restaurant. If you can get in there and ask to eat at the counter.

I second the Celebration, FL recommendation. One of the best Cuban food restaurants is right there and the Celebration Hotel has a world class steak house.

Our favorites are Jiko, California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Citricos. We've had inconsistent service at all of the above (Cali Grill is the best in that department), but the food is always top notch. For romance, we always choose Jiko -- the dark room and subdued atmosphere is spectacular; just be sure to request a 4-top table so that you won't be seated at a banquette with two other couples rubbing elbows with you!
