Not in the ratings/production sense, but I'm talking about whether the show has a future once the March 29, 2010 date passes...
That's the date of the supposed 6 month-glimpse into the future most everyone in the world had. The shows initial season is full of everyone gearing up to see what happens on that date and what happens leading up to it.
But after that date passes (and it should sometime near the end of the first season - possibly the season finale) almost the entire premise of the show goes away. Even the title, "Flash Forward" recalls an event or circumstance that April 30, 2010 renders moot.
I'm sure there will be plenty of story left to tell, as Mark Benford and our Heroic Gang of FBI jocks track down who's responsible for the blackouts, but once the visions are all in the past, what's the "hook" that keeps the show special and from becoming just another procedural-type FBI drama?
