A couple months ago at the D23 Expo, an expansion of Fantasyland was announced. Here's the press release:

What do you all think about it?
I'm really excited for the Beast's castle restaurant; I don't know how pricey it will be, but I really want to eat there at least once. I enjoy themed restaurants, and to be inside an environment from one of the animated movies is almost like a dream come true!
Saying that, though, I'm not as excited for the "let's make a birthday card for Aurora" thing, but I am excited to at least go in some of the princesses' homes.
I am excited for the Little Mermaid ride- I really enjoyed watching the bonus feature on the Platinum Edition DVD, and even if it's not exactly like that, I have high hopes that it'll be a great ride.
I think that expanding Dumbo makes sense. While I'd rather see another new attraction instead of just expanding Dumbo, there's nearly always at least a 30 minute wait- it's such a popular attraction, that it'll be nice for people to get in and out that much quicker.
I don't really care about Pixie Hollow. I mean, yeah, it probably is/will be (since there's already a meet & greet area, which I haven't yet been in) themed nicely, and I'm sure the fairies are nice, but besides Tinker Bell, I don't really have much of an interest in the fairies. I don't have much of an interest in the new CGI Tinker Bell movies, and I wonder if this was a smart move. I know that there are at least 3 more Tinker Bell movies coming out, so hopefully people will still be interested in the fairies in the next few years, but how permanent will Pixie Hollow be? I say this because, in 10, 15 years, will people care? Should Disney have put their money into something that more people will care about? There are so many movies that don't have representation. Some of them might only be good for dark rides (I'm thinking "Bambi" and "The Fox and the Hound", for example...I very much enjoy the films, but I don't know what much you can do with them in a theme park attraction), but surely they're more worthy than Pixie Hollow?
