Disney Studios at the Ranch

    I'm sure a lot of people know about this, but Disney submitted plans to build new sound stages in Santa Clarita, CA- not too far north of LA and Burbank. The project has the support of the Governator and will supposedly create 2000+ entertainment production jobs in the area. Does this seem like good timing, considering the economic downturn?

    I agree. Good timing on Disney's part. We certainly need more jobs right now. I just hope they're able to preserve the remote feel of the location for exterior shots.

    I work in the same canyon as where they will be building (but far enough away it won't effect me at all). All I can say is I want to visit now and when they are done.
