The Walt Disney Company Announces Toys For Tots Grant Delivering 75,000 Extra Toys To Kids In Need

Toys For Tots - Good Morning America with Mickey Mouse

Yesterday on Giving Tuesday, Disney announced it is providing a grant to the Marine Toys for Tots Program that will deliver an additional 75,000 toys to children in need this holiday season, in addition to what it is receiving during its annual Disney Ultimate Toy Drive.

The Details

For the last 75 years, Disney has supported Toys for Tots to help bring toys and a message of hope to millions of children in need.

Disney’s relationship with Toys for Tots dates way back to the program’s beginnings, when Walt Disney and his studio artists personally designed the original Toys for Tots train logo that is still used today.

Earlier this month, they announced the 2023 Disney Ultimate Toy Drive had kicked off, with ways to donate both online and in person.

Yesterday morning, with Mickey in attendance, Disney announced on its “Good Morning America” show on ABC that they would be providing an additional 75,000 toys above what they are collecting.

Here is the official announcement:
