Roseanne – America’s favorite working-class family is back in first trailer.

The revival of Roseanne, ABC’s hit sit-com that aired from 1988 to 1997, took center stage during the Oscars telecast as the first trailer for the show aired in the middle of the awards show. The show and the entire Conner family returns with all-new episodes beginning on Tuesday, March 27 at 8pm ET with an hour long special.

Whether you love or hate comedienne Roseanne Barr, the show was always an interesting window into the things that impacted working class America. The Roseanne revival is expected to explore the same issues of life, death, marriage, children finances, employment, and more through the brutally honest lens of the Conner household. As it turns out, we’re all still struggling with these things today. It should remain very relevant.

Most of the original cast returns and the show adds a few new series regulars. This being something of an event for ABC, they’re bringing back some of the show’s more popular guest stars too.

ABC’s revival stars Roseanne Barr as Roseanne Conner, John Goodman as Dan Conner, Laurie Metcalf as Jackie Harris, Lecy Goranson as Becky Conner-Healy, Sara Gilbert as Darlene Conner, Michael Fishman as D.J. Conner, Emma Kenney as Harris Conner-Healy, Ames McNamara as Mark Conner-Healy and Jayden Rey as Mary Conner. Sarah Chalke is also back, she played Becky in the later seasons, but will appear in another role.

Guest stars reprising their roles will include Estelle Parsons as Beverly Harris, Sandra Bernhard as Mancy Bartlett, Natalie West as Crystal Anderson, James Pickens, Jr. as Chuck Mitchell, and Adilah Barnes as Anne Marie Mitchell.
