It’s award season in Hollywood, which means a lot of things, but for screenwriters, it is a rare chance for the public to see their work in its raw state – the script. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn also wrote the script for the film and this morning he shared where fans can download and read it for themselves.
It’s a big long for Hollywood standards, clocking in at 139 pages. However, that also includes the very funny post-credit scenes, one with adolescent Groot. Also interesting to note that Gunn inserts what songs should be played at various points in the soundtrack. This helps give Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 its rock-inspired groove.
