Target rolls out Disney’s Beauty and the Beast designer collection

If you’ve seen any of the previews for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, you know the costume design is over-the-top fantastic. It will no doubt inspire millions of kids around the world to want to dress up like Belle and other characters. It’s childsplay and perfectly natural.

A new line of clothing at Target attempts to answer that demand. The company worked with the film’s costume designer, Jacqueline Durran, to help inspire the designs with prints and other details from Belle’s costumes in the movie.

The collection includes a variety of dresses, skirts, shirts and jackets in select baby, toddler and big girl sizes. Guests can bring the fairytale home and shop the collection now at Target stores and on Target.com ahead of the March 17 movie premiere so all fans can feel like royalty while watching the movie.

Will your daughter be ready to bring home the look from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast? Any of these you wish they made in adult sizes?

  1. I’ve never understood why they don’t make these in adult sizes. I mean for crying out loud this is a movie that many grew up with and still love! Disney’s certainly missing out I think.

  2. I agree…that dark blue sundress shown here? Why isn’t that in adult sizes???? As a die-hard Disney fan…who regularly wears Disney shirts and sweatshirts when shopping…and has other comment and start conversations about everything Disney….I think it is unfair…not to mention not smart on Disney’s part (yes, I also own Disney stock!) to make some of these clothes for us “grown-up” girls, too. I bought a shirt years ago…says “Where the Girls Are” and shows all the princess…..after 20 years fell apart and they don’t/won’t make it again in adult sizes. Hey, Disney…are you listening??????
