Sports and fashion superstar Serena Williams has a great affinity for Disney. So she’s been sneaking in some quality vacation time before resuming training for the season-ending WTA Finale in Singapore. As part of her visit to the Magic Kingdom Williams stopped to Princess Merida from the Disney•Pixar film, “Brave.”
Serena holds 22 Grand Slame singles titles, the most Major wins by any modern tennis player. Williams is also the highest paid female athelete earning $28.9 million this year
“You can’t beat Walt Disney World. It’s the best place to come,” said Williams. “You can be a kid, act yourself, have an amazing time and meet Princesses!”
Serena Williams says the Disney Princess she identifies the most with is Merida. “Meeting Merida is a lot fun. She’s such a strong Princess.”
She visited the parks many times and her favorite ride is Tower of Terror. “Magic Kingdom is classically the best. I just enjoy it here.”
