Rogue One Star Wars Toys made into Stop Motion Film

Lucasfilm asked a team of Star Wars super fans to use some of the toys that will be released for the upcoming “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” movie to make their own stop-motion animated film. The story is complete made up by the fans:

Feel like you have the movie making chops yourself? Enter your own 2-minute Rogue One inspired video for the chance to win a trip to San Francisco to attend a screening of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and see your story on the big screen. Winning entries will be chosen by a panel including Rogue One director Gareth Edwards.

“These fan-created shorts are a tribute to the incredible content that the Star Wars community posts online every day,” said Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. “The Go Rogue campaign was designed with Star Wars fans in mind – we want them to be front and center in the run up to ‘Rogue One’ by imagining and creating their own Rogue Stories.”

Select “Rogue One” toys will be available beginning this Friday at DisneyStore.com with most toys rolling out to stores near you by the end of September.
