Comic books and sports. Two things that don’t typically go together and yet, Marvel and ESPN are continuing to find ways to connect the two. From magazines to short films and documentaries these two companies seem to be making the most of their shared parentage.
They’re latest collaboration is in anticipation for the start of college football this weekend.
ESPN has called upon some of Marvel’s best talent to create cover art promoting six of the biggest games this week.
What I love about these covers is that they are all based on classic Marvel covers including a couple by Jack “King” Kirby.
What I don’t love is that they seem to be for digital promotional purposes only. I can’t find a way to get a physical copy of them.
