With Disney’s Animal Kingdom offering new extended evening hours, guests are now able to have a unique experience on the Kilimanjaro Safari. And similar to during the day, if you want a more exclusive and extended experience, you can pay for an upgraded experience. During the day it’s Wild Africa Trek, where you walk and ride through some upclose experiences with the animals, and at night Disney is now offering the Savor the Savanna Evening Safari Experience.
The experience includes special food, beer and wine tasting, and a private safari vehicle for your adventure through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. You will stop at the exclusive viewing area used in the Wild Africa Trek for your dining break and savor African-inspired tapas and wine and beer while overlooking the savanna. Unlike the day time experience, there are no off-truck experiences. So you won’t have to exert yourself.
There are only 12 guests on each adventure, so the experience is very intimate. At the end of the night you’ll receive a special keepsake commemorating your amazing expedition across the the savanna.
