You may know her best as Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, in the Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), “Disney’s Descendants,” but in addition to Sofia Carson’s upcoming role in the new DCOM “Adventures in Babysitting,” she also has a musical career she’s been nurturing behind the scenes. She just signed a contract with Disney’s Hollywood Records and is working on a new album.
This weekend Carson was at Magic Kingdom to perform one of the songs from that new album, “Love is the Name” on “Despierta America,” an American Spanish language morning show on Univision.

Carson stars in the 100th Disney Channel Original Movie, Adventures in Babysitting, debuting June 24, 2016. Of course, Descendants 2 is also in the works for sometime in 2017. Oh yeah, she was just named Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing.” Do you agree?
